Through the... what?
Through the Roof – a regional young adults night that sees hundreds of 18–25-year-olds from all over Oakville, Burlington, Milton and surrounding areas.
The night is inspired by a group of friends recorded in Mark 2. One of their group is paralytic, and the other friends band together, determined to get him to Jesus. They were so sure of His power, so sure of His ability to heal, they literally lowered their friend through the roof of the busy home Jesus was teaching in. All they knew was – we need to get our friend to Jesus.
Let’s be like them. Let’s join with friends in a real and active pursuit of more Jesus. If you’re 18-25 you should be at our next Through the Roof and you should be bringing your friends!
And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay. – MARK 2:4
